Eli served in the United States Marine Corps from 1994 to 1998 as a parachute rigger and forward observer. He deployed with the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit directing close air-support, naval gunfire, and artillery in Operation Deny Flight, Operation Deliberate Force, Operation Joint Endeavor, and Operation Provide Promise.
After serving, Eli worked for the family construction business as a painter and carpenter. Over the course of the past 20 years, Eli studied while working construction, earning a B.S. in Economics from Texas Tech University, M.A. in International Relations from St. Mary’s University, and a JD in Jurisprudence from St. Mary’s School of Law.
Eli is particularly passionate about American combat veterans and helping them transition to civilian life. Raven Military Maintenance exists to help alleviate the unique barriers combat veterans face in the work place by paying them a good wage with benefits.
